I felt a tickle on my head and brushed it down. It landed on my skirt and started skittering about.

OMG A SPIDER WAS IN MY HAIR WTF!!!!!!

Is it going to be one of *those* days? :P

:grins: You are such a girl.

In full disclosure, while spiders don't bug me, cockroaches will send me climbing the walls.

Just about everyone in California has a colony of spiders living in their hair. Get used to it. If you're lucky, they at least won't be poisonous. :X

Well,at least it was just a spider. *shudders thinking about the alternative*
(On the brighter side, when I was working at IBM, the place was infested with ladybugs - which was kind of cool.)

When I was first growing my hair out and it got to about elbow length, every once in a while it would brush against my arm just the wrong way and I would freak out trying to get the bug off. Oh Shit creepy crawly! Get it off get it off get it off NOW! And it would always turn out to be my hair. Now I've learned to just assume it's hair and not freak out, but on very rare occasions it really is a bug. I seem to have gotten over the freaking out part, though.

When I lived with my grandmother, I used to find a baby spider in my hair every day. They were tiny and cute. My friend Charlie suggested that they were in my hair because they knew they'd be safe, since I never kill spiders.
